Dr. Vanko Vankov is a pulmonologist (Lung Diseases) with 30 years of medical experience. He provides treatment and consultations for acute and chronic lung diseases.
Dr. Vankov does not work with children.

Education

Dr. Vankov graduated from Pleven Medical University in 1993. He obtained his specialties in “Internal Diseases” and “Pneumology and Phthisiology” in 2000 and 2008 at Sofia Medical University.
Qualifications:
• Certificates from participation in congresses of the ERS (European Respiratory Society) and BDBB (Bulgarian Society of Respiratory Diseases), non-invasive ventilation for COPD and OSA;
• Non-invasive ventilation for COPD and OSA, Bronchology, Thoracic Ultrasound, Radiological Diagnostics for Lung Diseases.

Biography

Dr. Vankov began his professional career at the First Internal Medicine Department of Montana General Hospital. Since 2008, he has been practicing in the fields of “Pneumology and Phthisiology” and “Bronchology” in both outpatient and inpatient care. Since 2021, he has also been part of the team of specialists at Medical Center Hera – Montana branch.
